Backgommon Tournament - Sunday Jan 10th 2010
Happy New Year! We hope that you have enjoyed the holidays. We have organized a backgammon tournament as our first event for 2010. Come enjoy a friendly backgammon tournament with your friends and family along with pizza and refreshments.
Backgammon is one of the oldest board games for two players in which the playing pieces are moved according to the roll of dice. Players win by removing all of their pieces from the board. Learn more about the game here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Backgammon
We hope to see you on Sunday, January 10th, at 6:00 PM. The event will be held at the Connan Room on the 1st floor of the CMU University Center (same location as our past Yalda celebration). RSVP for this event is required. Please RSVP to pso@andrew.cmu.edu by January 7th. The admission fee is $5. Fees will provide for prizes for top three winners. Admission is open to both students and non-students.
